Russia and Israel will develop standards for unmanned vehicles
State of Israel, October 12, 2018 – Training seminars for representatives of Israeli business community and cooperation development in other fields were discussed
on October 9, 2018 in Jerusalem during the 15th session of the Joint Israeli-Russian commission on trade and economic cooperation.
The meeting was co-chaired by deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Maxim Akimov and Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Minister of Environmental Protection of the State of Israel Zeev Elkin.
Russian delegation included around 50 officials from different ministries and agencies. The Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology was represented by Alexey Kuleshov, deputy Head of Rosstandart, Russian side Chairman of the Working Group on standardization, metrology and conformity assessment.
During the session Parties highlighted successful conclusion of certification of PTC KAMAZ vehicles, identified cooperation areas between Russia and Israel in metrology and unmanned vehicles standardization.
Parties had also discussed bilateral interaction in the field of innovation, energy, industry, medicine, agriculture, digital economy, interregional cooperation.
Following the meeting, Parties signed a final protocol with an action plan for the implementation of the reached agreements.
